About Gorse & Hare

Thoughtful things for a slower home.

Gorse & Hare began with clay, a love of making, and a desire to create things that feel at home in everyday life.

We believe the things we surround ourselves with don’t need to be perfect or plentiful. They can be simple, useful and beautiful — made to be picked up, used, lived with and loved.

Our first collection is handmade pottery, created in small batches in Dumfries, Scotland. Alongside these pieces, we create personalised work inspired by the people, animals and places that hold meaning.

Over time, Gorse & Hare will grow beyond ceramics, slowly bringing together other natural, useful and thoughtfully made pieces for the home. Made slowly. Chosen with intention.

We’re drawn to natural materials, quiet colours, considered design and the little imperfections that remind you something was made by hand.

Nothing here is intended to be disposable or simply fill a space.
